Dun dun dun

Hey peeps!! Its finally here! We just got the first 50 copies of our book entitled Ninjas Zombies Pirates! Here are a few pictures! :D

Steambun is moving forward ever so slowly as i am also right in the middle of animating some 40+ scenes for another project. I'm hoping to clear my plate of unfinished projects pretty soon.
Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone has a great weekend.

I just saw Broken Trail on tv this past week, and it reminded me of the past few Steambun sequences you've posted here. (The carrying of small lady over shoulder thing.)

Cool to see more work here. How're you thinking of hitting the color for the comic pages?

Khylov : Broken Tail? I haven't seen it yet. :D I will try and hunt it down so i can watch it.

As for color i'm currently trying a lot of textures but i'm trying to find a balance. Its going to be more or less like the header that was a couple of posts down with a bit more kick to it. :D One thing about color though is it still kicks my ass.

Mike Terry : Thanks Mike. We were all very excited. We were staring at it for quite a while after we got them. :D Glad your likin' Steambun so far, I can't wait to finish it. Thanks again. :)

Jenn : Thanks Jenn!! :D We're currently trying to find a cost effective solution to send the books out of Vancouver. So if you know of anyone else who would want a copy in Ottawa let us know we can cut you guys a good deal ;)! But i'll make sure you get a copy. :D E-mail me your address. How are things in Ottawa by the way?

Dam : Thanks Dam, glad you like them.

Dan : Thanks buddy, we're on it like gravy on steak!! :D About the printing we went to a print house in Vancouver called fortune 900 on west broadway. I don't know exactly how the pricing will apply on your project because there's a lot of different factors involved. Such as black and white or color, paper grade, book size and page count. I'll send you their number in an e-mail. :D

Robi : Thanks Robi, you've always been an inspiration and for that i must also thank you! :D

Eric : Thanks Eric, I'm glad you like it :D it makes the hard work well worth it. :)
