street fighter fever: conclusion

well i guess this marks the end of my current street fighter obsession! :D i'm not to sure about the background and colors as i don't really do much of both (something i think i'll be concentrating more on ).

one of my favourite things to do in street fighter is to beat people using dan hibiki. yes he may seem like a joke but in the hands of a patient person he can be pretty devastating. nothing like finishing someone with a shinku gadouken! :D :D

couple of friends that did some kickass SF art. hit them up at...
Ledo
jarrett young
Shaun'sShite

finally i've been tagged by my good friend dan so imma have to lay the damage unto another 7 people. and they are...
Ledo
jarrett young
Shaun'sShite
Mike's Place
polllak
ryan khatam
Ramses Melendez

Here is the game rule:
1. You must link to the individual who tagged you and post the rules of TAG (which you are currently reading).
2. Post 7 random facts about yourself
3. Tag 7 friends and link to them and
4. Let them know that they have been tagged by leaving a nice little message on their blog.

here are my 7 facts.
- i look up to everyone (or most people) because i'm 5'3 :D
- my favourite game character is samus aran
- i think naudo is the best guitarist in the world ( search youtube for NAUDO :D )
- i started drawing when i was 5
- got my first comic book when i was 7
- stopped and haven't drank pop for about 6 months now
- bacon is absolutely one of the most awesome reasons to be alive.... or dying

alright guys, see you next update.......definitely shorter than this!!

WOW dude this one is so cool!! I love the back ground and all the emotion in the back ground, I need to work more on those. I love how Dan only has one fan in the crowd. The fluidity is spot on.

Superbe illustration and superbe also your «tagged»-seleccion :-) heeeehee!! Thanks for your comment and no, I didn't designed the player on the post before, only the illustrations on the backgroud and the body ;-). But you can make your own tape and music seleccion, just follow the instructions here: http://www.mixwit.com Cheers ^^!!

Nah, I missed out on that unfortunately. Usually I just switch over when I see Dubya Bush on tv nowadays (and I actually am interested in politics, and have been for many years!) That's the real detriment of his character.

You're tagged, buddy.

And yo, let's start talking about that book. Give me a shout! 604 568 0833.

thaks for your comments

Like the fluid motion ya got with the lines. My favorite characters to use were Chung Li (for her speed) and Akuma of course. I hated Ryu because everyone used him so much.

Awesome work my friend!!! Thanks for the comments on my blog! Keep up the great work and keep in touch!

Ah Ragnar, one thing that might be cool, you should draw your final film Devil guy into some video game fight. Have him up against someone from SFII or, King of Fighters or whatever. That'd be cool. Secrete unlockable bonus character like that winged demon in Tekken.

Though maybe you're done with drawing that old guy. :)

Since this is hidden way back among the other comments in an older post, this'll probably pass under the radar. But since I'm here, let me ask: What was your approach w/ the main characters in the foreground vs. the bg characters? Any difference, or none?

Khylov said...

Cool cool, thanks for fielding that one. What I'm really curious about is what your approach was to the character poses; as in: Line of action - the arcs and angles (spine namely, but also for arms, legs, etc.)

Best guitarist? Ah, for me, that's a toss up between Alex Lifeson and.. somebody else; can't think of who.

I checked out Naudo on youtube; really nice. He does alot of alternating/scale work while he's on one chord, which gives it a really full sound. Listening to this, I have a feeling you'd dig on Weather Report circa '74 - no guitar work, but some pretty cool Atari jazz/funk with bass work a'la Jaco.
